WHAT IS MIXED MEDIA FOR ME?
SQUARE PAINTING
If the viewer looks more closely at the artworks in square technique, he will be able to see more details, shadows and structures.
Each square can represent an independent work of the abstract genre or be part of a whole. After all, individual squares, connected like pixels on a canvas, form a large overall picture.

MULTI-LAYER PAINTING
Multi-layered paintings draw attention to the existence of an object behind the glass, right in front of the viewer’s eyes. It is as if the event is happening here and now, and the viewer himself is a non-observer who is present. In such paintings I usually use only a few materials: to make the details on the back of the Plexiglas brighter, I use enamel. Sometimes I use additional materials to create basic textures for the back layer – for example, in the project “Art Fusion” I use fabric that I soak with paint.
EPOXY RESIN COATING
Sometimes the use of the same material can lead to completely different results, depending on the type of application.
While in the “Mirrors of Happiness” project a thin layer of epoxy resin coating helped to imitate the smooth surface as in a mirror, in the “Spring in a Box” project the framed works are literally covered with epoxy resin, creating the effect of an image covered with ice.
